This is a very helpful manual if you have a child who is struggling with the step of putting it all together in either reading or spelling. Autism.
This is a sight reading program designed for deaf, developmentally disabled or any other children with severe auditory disabilities. I use this program with my autistic daughter, and she is making good progress, plus she loves the books because of the delightful illustrations. That's good enough for me! I should say, however, that there are several stories that deal with dressing up for Halloween as ghosts or witches and some parents have objected to this. I would say that if these stories bother you, you can skip them, but if you have a child who needs a sight approach to reading, this is definitely the one I would choose.
